Lady Audra SingletonFIRST LADY AUDRA SINGLETON

Audra Singleton was born in Columbus County, North Carolina.  She grew up in a Missionary Baptist Church and was saved at age 11. Even as a child she was very active in many church and social arenas and had a strong desire to work in missions.

She attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina and put her own self through college graduating with a B.S. in English.  She was a Lead Mentor teacher in the Pitt County School System and in 1999 she was awarded the Channel 1 Network National Teacher of the Year Award.  She is twice listed as Who’s Who among America’s Teachers (1997, 2000) and in 2000 Audra Singleton was awarded the North Carolina Principal Fellows Scholarship (class 7) to come out of the classroom and become a school administrator.  In 2002 she graduated from ECU again with a Masters degree in School Administration.  She also holds a Masters certification as a Curriculum Instructional Specialist, licensed mentor, and has done graduate studies in linguistics. Audra Singleton is a U.S. Army veteran, including a tour of duty in Dessert Shield/Storm in the Persian Gulf War. Mrs. Singleton is a school administrator in the Pitt County School system.

In 1988, she became one of the founding members of Koinonia Christian Center Church, founded by Pastor Rosie O'Neal.  She has held numerous ministry assignments such as, the first assistant pastor along with her husband, secretary of the board of directors, praise team leader, choir director, personal minister, trustee, marriage counselor, women’s fellowship director and intercessor.  She served faithfully at Koinonia for 16 years.  Presently she is a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Falkland, NC where her husband is Pastor.

In 1989, she married her best friend, Pastor  Joseph Martin Singleton and the two of them share a wonderful love life raising their two daughters and preaching and teaching the word of God.  Audra Singleton is powerful motivational speaker and advocate for the welfare of children and families.  She has overcome the abuse and the shame of her own childhood to empower many others to overcome. Her message of hope, healing and deliverance is globally changing and challenging the lives of many. She is the founder and CEO of Project Anna, Inc. a charitable Christian organization serving young ladies ages 11-21. She serves on the Missionary Field  in Africa and in the West Indies.  Her exhortation to others is “If you are going to do anything in life worthwhile, do something to enhance the life of a child.”
